Meeting Mugwort in September

Service Description

One of my favorite ways to work with mugwort is through the crafting of smoke bundles. Protective, grounding, and deeply connected to ritual practice, mugwort reminds us that we do not need to purchase sage or palo santo when medicine is already growing around us. Together we will create our own smoke bundles using mugwort along with seasonal flowers and herbs available at this time. We will also experiment with grinding dried mugwort for burning on charcoal, discuss the history of mugwort in moxabustion, and explore some of the traditional uses and benefits of smoking mugwort. Tea and light snacks will be provided. You will leave with the mugwort bundles we create together, along with a digital copy of Mugwort: Crone of the Plant Kingdom.
